COLLEZIONE GORI

Second Celle Art and Nature Poetry Award

The prize for the second edition (2021-2022) was unanimously awarded to Giuseppe Conte. His writings are in absolute harmony with the principles that animate the spirit of the Collection’s initiatives.
After living in Celle, Giuseppe Conte composed these verses extolling the genius loci of the Park and its works of environmental art.
A natural passage from the blue sea of Liguria, which is part of his habitual living, to the ‘green sea’ that characterises these hills of ours.

The poet then chose an Acer Campestre to add to the ‘Avenue of Poetry’, among the olive trees near the Serra dei Poeti, next to that of Antonella Anedda.
Giuseppe Conte’s verses were accompanied by the works of Luca Gilli, an artist who usually makes poetry using the camera as a means of expression.

Just as a word of a poem evokes vast interior worlds, so Gilli’s photos project us into wide spaces of thought, leaving us the time necessary for deeper reflections.
