2019 – photography, mirror, painting
With The Creator of Clouds the artist has enclosed a portion of sky inside a room on the second storey of the Cascina Terrarossa exhibition space. The painted walls are reflected in the mirrored floor tiles, forming a link between the floor and ceiling and occupying an undefined but real space. In this way we immediately perceive our existence between two worlds as, connected by the soul’s common thread, we are led from earth to the infinite. At the centre of the piece the creator of clouds himself is reproduced on the tiles, thus appearing comfortably suspended in the sky.
