Frank Breidenbruch was born in Wuppertal in 1963 where he trained in stone processing. He lived for a long time in Italy, near Carrara, where he specialised in marble techniques. He has executed commissions for Allianz Versicherungs AG, Cologne; Stadtsparkasse and Nordpark, Wuppertal. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions and his solo exhibitions at the Wendelin Chapel in Weil der Stadt (1998), Power Station, Offenbach am Main (1999), the Ausstellung Museum Leingarten, Heilbronn (2004) are worth mentioning here.
In 2005 he won the Christa & Enno Springmann Prize, Wuppertal; in 2009 he created works for the R. Leupi, Zurich; Claudio Lalli, Sardinia; in 2013 he exhibited in the exhibitions Pin Pon Pan, in Rome, Bologna , Carrara and Vai 15, at three sites in Carrara; the following year he was present at the VHS, Wuppertal.
